Role Overview

We are rolling out smart vending machines and need someone on the ground to make them work in the real world.

If the machines are ignored, misunderstood, or frustrating, we want to know why. If people love them, we want to know what's working. You are the link between users and the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage people around the vending machine and explain how to use it clearly and confidently.
• Address questions, concerns, and misconceptions in real time.
• Encourage first-time use and repeat usage through demonstrations and guidance.
• Gather feedback on pricing, product selection, ease of use, and trust.
• Track machine visits, usage frequency, and peak usage periods.
• Collect basic demographic information of users where applicable.
• Record issues such as payment failures, machine errors, or product jams.
• Document environmental factors that affect usage (visibility, foot traffic, security, weather).
• Maintain accurate daily and weekly field logs.
• Report operational issues promptly and share actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum of WASSCE certificate or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of experience in field engagement, outreach, sales activation, or data collection.
• Fluency in both Twi and English; ability to explain processes clearly.
• Experience interacting directly with the public in busy or informal settings.
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
• Comfortable using smartphones or simple digital tools for reporting.
